Hi, I’m Chris!

I know what it feels like to not like yourself very much.

I’ve lived with depression, generalised anxiety and social phobia. I’ve been bullied, psychologically and physically. I have a sexual assault in my past. And for a long time I had coping mechanisms that kept me safe in the short term but quietly made everything worse underneath.

I’m not telling you this to shock you, or to position myself as someone who has suffered more than others. I’m telling you because when you sit with me, I want you to know that I’m not guessing at what you might be going through. I’ve done a lot of that work myself, from the inside. And I’ve come out the other side, not perfectly, not without the occasional hard day, but genuinely, sustainably better.

That’s why I do this.

I’m a cis queer neurodivergent woman (she/her), Swedish born, partly American raised, and have spent my entire adult life in the UK. I’m very much part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and I work regularly and comfortably with clients from across the full spectrum of GSRD, gender, sexuality and relationship diversity. Many of my clients are neurodivergent too, whether they know that about themselves when we start or not. I have experience working alongside people with autism, ADHD, dyspraxia, dyslexia, dyscalculia, TBI, hyperlexia, Irlens syndrome and Tourette’s syndrome. I’m not a specialist in any of these, but they’re certainly not new to me either.

I’m also, these days, genuinely happy. Not in a performative way, not in a “everything is fine” way, but in the quiet, solid way that comes from having done the work and built a life that actually fits.

That life includes a beautiful horse farm in the East Midlands, where I run a small livery yard and look after my own and my partner’s horses and my dog. I kickbox for fun, fitness and the occasional bout of stress relief, and took my black belt a few months before my 50th birthday. I spend a lot of time in my own company because that’s what suits me and recharges me. I’m building my home into a Sanctuary, a place to rest, recharge and genuinely look after myself.

I love that I can now help other women find their way to their own version of that. Not my version. Theirs.

When we work together, I’ll take you on a journey toward figuring out what’s actually right for you and how you can begin to create it. It takes time, because life doesn’t pause while we do the work. But that’s part of it too. There’s no right or wrong version of the life you want. There’s only what’s right for you.

And I’d love to help you find it.

Here’s where you can find my little corner of the world!
